Getting Started
The primary sections of this library are divided by Marketing Sources, Analytics Sources, and Data Destinations. Before jumping in, there are a few terms to familiarize yourself with to better understand the function of each section.
Data Flows
Data Flows are customizable and centralized functions to extract, join, transform, and export data from your business platforms. Simply put, there are a number of complex systems that have been made easier to access through streamlined configurations, all of which bring data to, or push data from, Nodus Data Flows.
Marketing Sources
Marketing Sources refers to ingestion of data from marketing platforms where advertiser campaigns are being activated. As an example of data typically modeled with Marketing Sources:
- dimensions: e.g Campaign Name, Ad Name, Creative Name, Date, Bid Strategy
- metrics: e.g Ad Spend, Impressions, Clicks, Video Views, Engagement, Conversions, and many more
Analytics Sources
Analytics Sources refers to ingestion of data from web analytics tools where on-site activity is being tracked. As an example of data typically modeled with Analytics Sources:
- dimensions: e.g Source, Medium, Page Name, Date
- metrics: e.g Sessions, Users, Page View, Add To Cart, Revenue
Data Destinations
Data Destinations refers actions that enable brands to push data from Nodus. These actions may be used to enable brands to push marketing infromation to business intelligence tools to construct dashboards and run analyses on. These actions may also enable conversion syncing back to marketing platforms to enable in-platform conversion reporting and optimization.
